The black Q Laptop Backpack 2014 from Timbuk2 is a mid-sized backpack that is able to hold up to a 17" laptop, such as the 17" MacBook, as well as an iPad mini in a front padded pocket. The bag features a large zippered main compartment for storing your larger items, like books or a jacket, while two smaller zippered pockets on the front provide space for smaller accessories. There is also a tricot-lined floating pocket for more delicate items, and an elasticized external side pocket for holding a water bottle or U-lock.
The Q is TSA-friendly, offering the ability to access your laptop without completely opening up the bag. The back panel features airmesh for ventilation, and there are two adjustable shoulder straps with a sternum strap. Grab handles are positioned on either side of the bag for convenience, and there is an on-strap bottle opener. Also available is a vista loop for attaching a blinking bike light.
