This HomePlug AV2 compliant TPL-421E2K Powerline 1200 AV2 Adapter Kit with Built-in Outlet from TRENDnet comes with two adapters designed to make it easy to extend the reach of your network through your buildings existing electrical outlets. Each adapter comes equipped with a built-in outlet allowing you to plug electrical devices into the outlet occupied by the adapter. With auto-connect technology these adapters are virtually plug-and-play and they come pre-encrypted eliminating the need to set security protocols. Simply attach one adapter to your network via the Gigabit Ethernet port and plug both adapters into connected electrical outlets to take advantage of data transfer rates of up to 1200 Mbps at distances up to 980 ft (300 m). The Gigabit Ethernet port on the accompanying adapter can then be used for Ethernet compatible devices such as routers, access points, computers, game consoles, and more.
