The Infra-Red Receiver and Light Intensity Sensor Unit by TriggerSmart is a dual functioning sensor unit for the TriggerSmart Camera Triggering System. This sensor is included in the TriggerSmart Kit, but can be purchased individually as a spare or to be used with other sensors for multiple triggering applications. This unit acts as an Infra-red receiver which registers an IR beam from an IR Transmitter. When that beam is broken, the camera is triggered to shoot. The unit doubles as a Light Intensity Sensor and signals the camera to shoot when a new light is detected. Light sensitivity is adjusted by the TriggerSmart Control Unit to which the IR Receiver and Light Intensity Sensor is connected via a sensor cable. The unit includes a 2º baffle to limit inconsequential light changes.
