User manual for the Turbosound 10000DP 4-Channel Powered Loudspeaker 10000DP
The user manual for the Turbosound 10000DP 4-Channel Powered Loudspeaker 10000DP provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Pro Audio - Live Sound - Power Amplifiers.
The Turbosound 10000DP 4-Channel Powered Loudspeaker Management System is designed for high power professional live sound reinforcement applications. The unit comes in a 2RU chassis and works with the Flashline large format line array integrated loudspeaker system. Each channel is rated to over 2350W at 2 Ohms;, 2300W at 4 Ohms, 1300W at 8 Ohms, or 660W at 16 Ohms. The amplifier can also be bridged to deliver 4600W at 8 Ohms and 4700W at 4 Ohms.
Advanced features include Lake signal processing, Dante networked audio signal distribution, real-time performance monitoring, and accurate load verification. The system utilizes a universal power supply with Power Factor Correction (PFC) that allows for extended bursts of power without sagging power rails or bursts of low frequency beats from affecting high and mid-frequency headroom.
Each amplifier channel can handle a different impedance and depending upon the application, more power can be delivered to the channel(s) that need it while still leaving peak voltage accessible to all channels. A new set of limiter profiles can be used to improve the subjective performance of the system when the need for perceived higher SPL exceeds the allowable actual SPL limitations of a room.
To ensure the show will go on with uninterrupted power delivery to the speakers, the power management system utilizes a proprietary Breaker Emulation Limiter (BEL) to prevent tripping the mains breaker of the venue. Advanced peak limiting circuits keep the output devices below the thermal protection threshold and within acceptable operating tolerances. If the mains voltage begins sagging, Under-Voltage Limiting (UVL) ensures continuous operation, even if the supply drops to as low as 65 V.
The amplifier comes preloaded with optional settings that have been specifically tailored to different Turbosound loudspeakers.
