User manual for the TV One C2-160 PCI/ISA Card Down Converter C2-160
The user manual for the TV One C2-160 PCI/ISA Card Down Converter C2-160 provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Professional Video - Signal Processing & Distribution - Signal Converters.
The C2-160 PCI/ISA Card Down Converter from TV One is a down converter that provides high-quality scan conversion from computer or HDTV signals to standard video formats. It will manage computer resolutions up to 2048 x 2048 at any vertical refresh rate and all HDTV resolutions up to 1080p. Video output can be switched between NTSC and PAL and is simultaneously provided in composite and S-Video. This unit also features a PC loop-thru. It is made to be installed in a vacant PC slot and receives its power from a standard hard drive connector within the PC.
This unit's exclusive AutoSet feature automatically sizes and positions the computer image to fit exactly on the video screen. All settings can be stored in non-volatile memory and are retained even when power is turned off. This unit can be controlled via an infrared remote control or an RS-232 connection. Additionally, an on-screen display is available to assist in setup while a Windows control panel is provided and will work with most third-party control systems.
A variable zoom feature allows you to enlarge any part of the computer screen up to 10x. A variable shrink feature allows you to shrink the image to as little as 10% of its original size, ensuring that you can fit it on most displays. Advanced digital flicker elimination circuitry and a high sampling rate help to ensure a crisp picture. Moreover, full bandwidth chroma sampling ensures faithfully reproduced colors.
Other advanced features included genlock, chromakey, and lumakey. A key mode allows computer graphics to be keyed over an external composite of S-video signal and this image may be faded in or out. Because of its 4:4:4 sampling format, precise keying at the pixel level is also possible. A mix mode permits glitch-free mixing between computer image and external video, while a PIP mode allows the computer input to be inset in a window over either of the video inputs.
This product features TV One's CORIO2 technology, a proprietary chipset that provides functionality for future upgrades. This video processing engine is entirely firmware based, meaning that when upgrades or updates become available; you only need to upgrade the firmware on your unit to benefit from this new technology.
