Uniden's Wireless Monitor with DVR and Two Cameras is a portable wireless video monitoring system that consists of a 7" color rechargeable monitor that can operate for 3.5 hours on a single charge, plus two dust and water-resistant cameras. Once the monitor and cameras are synced up to your Wi-Fi network, the cameras will begin to transmit video wirelessly to the monitor up to a distance of 500'. This wireless system also supports remote video viewing and monitoring on a Windows computer or an Android/iOS smart device. Simply download the free Uniden Guardian app that lets you take snapshots of recorded video, which can then be stored as JPEGs to your smart device.
Furthermore, the system allows you to integrate 2 additional cameras to give you even more insight into your home or business' comings and goings. The included cameras are equipped with built-in motion detectors that can be set to record only when motion is detected, thereby minimizing review time and preserving storage space.
Both cameras have built-in 1/4" CMOS sensors that captures color video in the 480 X 272 resolution during the day and black and white video at night as light levels diminish. At night, images can be captured up to 40' away, even in complete darkness. Each camera's 3.6mm lens captures a wide-angle view of a scene, thereby minimizing the number of cameras needed. With an IP66 weatherproof rating, these cameras are built to operate both outdoors and indoors. Along with this wireless surveillance system, a monitor cradle, 2 camera stands, 3 AC adapters, 2 camera antennas, 2 extension cords, an Ethernet cable, and a 4GB microSD card are included.
