The USA Gear Action Camera Mount Series Helmet Mount Kit allows you to capture footage from a headlamp-like perspective by attaching your action camera around any type of vented or smooth surface helmet. The mounting kit includes a helmet strap base, adhesive base, J hook adapter with GoPro-style three-prong mounting interface, 3.5" extension arm, and a 1/4"-20 screw adapter for increased camera compatibility.
The mount works with any vented helmet design such as bike, ski, kayak, and climbing helmets, or any smooth design such as motorcycle, skating, or hockey helmets. For vented helmets, the helmet strap base weaves between vented slots for a secure and sturdy connection. For smooth helmets, the industrial strength adhesive base mounts to the front or side of your helmet. Both mounts feature a quick-release buckle for attaching your action camera via the J hook adapter mount.
The quick-release J hook action camera adapter mount uses the GoPro-style three-prong mounting interface for compatibility with a wide range of action cameras. The J hook shape is designed for increased articulation range, allowing your camera to lay flat while shooting. The 3.5" extension arm can be added for unique shooting angles, such as capturing your facial expressions during your action sport activities.
