The VEO AM-324 Aluminum Monopod from Vanguard weighs 1.7 lb and can hold up to 22 lb. It extends up to 66.9". The four leg sections employ flip locks to hold the monopod at your desired height, or to collapse it down to its closed length of 21.8".
The monopod's rubber foot is flat on the bottom and connects to the leg by means of a ball joint. The foot can be twisted to reveal a metal spike so the monopod can be used on a variety of surfaces such as carpeting, ice, or soft ground. A wrist strap and rubber hand grip and comfort and a carabiner lets you clip the tripod to a loop on your belt or bag. When you're not using the VEO AM-324 as a monopod, a cap can cover the threaded stud and you can use it as a walking stick.
