The user manual for the ViewZ VZ-215PM-P 21.5" 3G-SDI & 8-Bit Video VZ-215PM-P provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Professional Video - Monitors - Production Monitors.
The VZ-215PM-P 21.5" 3G-SDI & 8-Bit Video Production Monitor from ViewZ allows you to monitor SDI, HDMI, DVI, and analog video signals on a 1920 x 1080 resolution display. Two SDI connectors are provided, capable of handling SD, HD, and 3G SDI signals with support for YCbCR or RGB 4:4:4 10/12-bit video up to 1080/60p. It also supports 2K (2048 x 1080) YCbCr 4:2:2 10-bit signals at 23.98/24p and 23.98/24PsF. Additional video inputs include composite, component, and S-video on BNC connectors, as well as one HDMI and one DVI input.
An active loop through 3G/HD/SD-SDI output is available for sending video signals to additional monitors. A signal converter integrated into the monitor allows for SDI to HDMI conversions, with full support for 1080p60 signals on the HDMI output with test and measurement overlays. Professional overlays include waveform, vector scope, and selectable Y/R/G/B histogram. Other professional monitoring features including DSLR scaling, false color, 1:1 pixel mapping, and aspect ratio format markers. The convert also has an Under Monitor Display function which displays ancillary data at the foot of the screen.
Settings can be controlled using the buttons and jog dial on the front of the monitor, or remotely via RJ-45. A RS-422 input/output allows for daisy chaining and control from other ViewZ monitors. The monitor provides a 12 to 24 VDC 4-pin XLR input and a 110 to 240 VAC 50/60Hz plug input as standard power options.
