necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Professional Video - Signal Processing & Distribution - Analog & Digital Converters.
The Vitec MGW Premium Portable Multi-Channel H.264 AVC Dual HD Encoder is suitable for use in IPTV, FMV, and ISR applications. It features a rugged, fanless design with no moving parts for silent operation. The encoder is capable of encoding and streaming up to 5 streams (2 HD or up to 5 SD) of broadcast-quality video. Optimized for low-latency distribution of HD and SD video sources, the portable encoder disseminates IP video at broadcast-quality resolutions up to Full HD 1080p (@ 60 fps). The Premium encoder offers wide selection of video inputs including 3G, HD-SDI, SD-SDI, DVI, HDMI, S-Video, and Composite.
A built-in video matrix and scaler adjusts video input to any output resolution, data rate and frame rate. It allows a single video source to be routed to multiple compression cores for simultaneous encoding at up to five different resolutions and frame rates. In addition, it offers an optional on-the-fly HD source downscaling to SD. With the MIL-STD certification, the encoder is optimized for mission-critical ingestion and dissemination of Full Motion Video (FMV) with optional CoT and KLV metadata.
