The casing of the turquoise AquaShot Underwater Digital Camera from Vivitar is water-resistant down to 30' while the camera offers the ability to capture 640 x 480p or 320 x 240p VGA-resolution images as well as 320 x 240p videos. Images can be captured at 12 frames per second while videos can be recorded at a rate of 6 to 8 frames per second. Both images and videos are saved to the camera's 16MB built-in memory and can be downloaded to a computer using the included USB cable and Vivitar Experience Image Manager software. An optical viewfinder and an f/2.8, 0.25" fixed lens with a 1m to infinity focus range are provided for framing and capturing your subject at shutter speeds ranging from 1/60 to 1/15,000 of a second. Other features include a numeric two-digit LCD display and a self timer with a 10-second delay.
This compact camera is powered by two separately-available AAA batteries.
