The user manual for the Vocas Sony PXW-FS7 Compact Kit 0255-2360 provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Professional Video - Tripods, Supports & Rigs - Supports & Rigs - Rod Support Systems.
The Sony PXW-FS7 Compact Kit from Vocas upgrades your FS7 camera with a top cheese plate, an improved viewfinder bracket, and a 15mm LWS rod baseplate. The cheese plate adds 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting threads on the top of the camera for attaching accessories and is shaped like the letter H to fit around the camera's top handle without having to remove it. The viewfinder bracket replaces the original bracket included with the FS7 and uses a NATO rail system for mounting the viewfinder that prevents it from twisting while operating. The final piece of the kit, the 15mm rod baseplate, attaches to the bottom of the camera to support rod-mounted accessories such as a matte box or follow focus. Two sets of 15mm rods are included that are 7.2" and 9.25" in length.
