The AESDA from Whirlwind is a portable device that decodes digital audio in AES/EBU and S/PDIF into analog audio signals. It has one female XLR input (for stereo AES) and one BNC connector. There are two balanced male XLR outputs and a mini-plug headphone output. The AESDA can be powered with 4 AA batteries, with the included power supply, or adapted to an external portable power source.
