User manual for the Williams Sound WIR TX75 Pro Infrared Transmitter WIR TX75 D
The user manual for the Williams Sound WIR TX75 Pro Infrared Transmitter WIR TX75 D provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product A/V Presentation - Assistive Listening - Components & Accessories.
The 3.3/3.8MHz version of the WIR TX75 Pro Infrared Transmitter provides secure and clear communication in your conference room, courtroom, classroom, or other mid-sized venue with a coverage area of up to 5,000 square feet in single channel mode when using the RX22-4 receiver. Two slave transmitters (WIR TX75-S) can be added to the system to expand the total coverage area to 15,000 square feet when mounted 100' from the master transmitter. Audio inputs are provided for each channel on dedicated Phoenix connectors that accept balanced or unbalanced line level signal in either stereo or mono configurations. A 3.5 mm stereo microphone jack is also available with a rotary gain adjustment knob that is compatible with electret microphones. If the unit senses that only one channel is in use, it will double the output power on that channel to provide twice the coverage.
Power and signal can be carried to the slave emitters by a single CAT-5 cable. An intelligent power-saving feature automatically disables power to the IR diodes, reducing power consumption by 80% when no audio is present. A robust communication bus between the master and slave unit reduces interference, and a set of troubleshooting lights on the master unit helps simplify installations. It is designed to work with a headset, stethoset, and body-pack receivers (which are sold separately). The transmitter comes with a mounting bracket as well as an international power supply.
