The MFT to PL Mount Pro for Panasonic GH3/GH4 from Wooden Camera is a shimmable version of the Micro Four Thirds lens mount adapter that enables mounting of PL mount lenses onto the the Panasonic GH3 and GH4 cameras. The flange focus is factory set to match either of those cameras; the shims are only required when you discover your camera is out calibration.
The adapter is shimmable by loosening the six socket cap screws around the collar area, separating the two sections, and adding color coded shims of various thicknesses. Seven shims are included, which are stackable to achieve necessary thickness. The back focus can be checked using collimation tools or a wide lens focused to infinity. The mount features a foot for attaching to a tripod directly, eliminating strain on the camera. A PL port cap is also included to prevent dust from entering sensor area when a lens is not attached.
Besides the GH3 and GH4, this mount will work with any MFT mount camera - such as the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera and Panasonic AF100 - once the support foot is removed.
