User manual for the Ambient Recording A-Ray Surround Microphone Support A-RAY-DECCA
The user manual for the Ambient Recording A-Ray Surround Microphone Support A-RAY-DECCA provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Pro Audio - Stands & Mounts - Mounts, Clamps & Brackets.
The Ambient Recording A-Ray Surround Microphone Support (DECCA) is a unique and portable microphone support that allows the user to place up to 5 microphones (6th center surround arm to be purchased separately) at distances from 19.68" (50) cm to over 6.56’ (2 m) apart in the Decca Tree configuration.
The construction uses a central rectangular axis, telescopic arms, and special sliding nodes with toothed flanges and quick release skewers, which provide fast and easy set up. By arranging the nodes in-plane and perpendicular, it is possible to create the Decca Tree configuration. The Microphone Support also allows the possibility of adding more nodes to achieve setups with 7, 8, or 9 microphones. Made from aluminum and carbon fiber, the A-Ray microphone support is light though very strong and folds down to a small package that can be stowed away in the included carrying pouch.
