The black Discover 700 Mini-Dome Outdoor Camera with Varifocal Lens from American Dynamics captures brilliant 690 HTVL-E images, is easy to install, and offers flexible configuration and mounting options. With the WDR (Wide Dynamic Range), True Day/ Night mode, and precise color reproduction, this mini-dome camera accurately captures the critical details in a scene including the highlights and shadows, while maintaining the image quality and color accuracy. This camera also features integrated IR illuminators for operation in locations with no lighting.
With the Pixim Seawolf technology, the Discover 700 mini-dome camera produces usable color images in areas of reduced lighting as low as 0.1 lux at a frame rate of full 30 fps. The outdoor mini-dome is available with optional integrated IR illuminators for operation in situations where no visible lighting is present (0 lux). In addition this Pixim Seawolf technology eliminates the image-compromising visual noise (i.e. glare, reflections), yielding more efficiently compressed images and saving valuable storage space on DVRs and video networks. The pivoting 3-axis gimbal allows you to easily position the Discover 700 indoor camera at exactly the right angle mounted on ceilings or walls.
This Mini-Dome camera also comes with a high-impact vandal-resistant IP66-rated dome housing built to withstand harsh environments and protect against dust and other debris, and water damage. A heater (sold separately) helps regulate the temperature in cold weather.
