The American Dynamics MegaPower 48 Plus Matrix Switcher/Controller System lets you work with 48 video inputs and 16 full crosspoint video outputs. It can be used as a standalone system or a part of a network.
The RS-232 Communications backbone of the switcher/controller system makes for easy expansion to up to 7 different systems and 288 cameras. For convenient control, the system allows you to define authorized access to keyboards, video inputs, and video outputs. Additionally you can control domes, pan/tilts, motorized lenses, auxiliary outputs, presets, and patterns at suitably-equipped camera sites through SensorNet, RS-422, and Manchester outputs.
The MegaPower 48 Plus' on-screen menus let you easily program the system from a full-system keyboard. For further ease, the switcher is equipped with EASY 48 system configuration software that enables remote checking of the system status. Moreover, the EASY 48 aids in the checking of the cameras and monitors via an Ethernet connection or taking backup and restoring system data.
With the 'tour' option of the switcher, you can view a sequence of video feeds where each of the inputs is preprogrammed with their own dwell time. Besides, a preset/pattern and an auxiliary action make the tour further effective and time-saving.
The MegaPower 48 boasts a highly intelligent alarm setup. You can program the alarm setup in such a way that any trigger calls the video input or salvo of the breached location and displays to any one or more video outputs - as a priority over the existing video output at that time. With 250 alarm titles, identifying an alarm source becomes even easier than those that offer a single type of alarm. Additionally, you can set it up to transmit customized page in case of a trigger.
The slim modular wall-mount design gives you multiple installation options - on the rack or the wall. Depending on your space requirement you can choose your way to set this matrix up, without compromising on the surveillance.
