A 64GB SSD and 8GB of RAM are built-in for storage and multi-tasking. 8GB of memory allows the player to efficiently handle four individual 1080p video streams. High-speed Internet connectivity is enabled by the unit's onboard Ethernet connectivity.
Four HDMI, six USB 2.0, and two eSATA interfaces are available for connecting external devices; the two eSATA ports are shared with the USB ports. The AOPEN DE6140-48BP comes with the Windows 7 Professional operating system pre-installed.
