The Aputure A810 V-Converter HDMI Extra Scope allows you to overlay display functions usually reserved for on-camera monitors, on any monitor with an HDMI input, allowing you to display focus peaking, histogram, and zebra on an optional monitor larger than you would otherwise mount on a camera. The V-Converter A810 features a built-in 7.4 VDC, 1000mAh battery and can be charged or powered by 7.2 to 12 VDC. Made from 6063 Aviation grade aluminum and weighing under a pound, the unit can be easily carried with you as part of your kit.
The unit supports HDMI signals up to 1080p60, and outputs 720p with the overlay. As this overlay signal is just for monitoring and not recording, the 720p signal with overlay should still provide you with enough information to be a valuable production aid.
