User manual for the Aquatica SURVEYOR Moisture and Vacuum Sensor 19229-AE-M1
The user manual for the Aquatica SURVEYOR Moisture and Vacuum Sensor 19229-AE-M1 provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Photography - Underwater Photography - Misc. Accessories.
Prevent leaks and keep your valuable investment safe with Aquatica's SURVEYOR Moisture and Vacuum Sensor, which is compatible with their AE-M1 Underwater Housing for the Olympus OM-D E-M1 digital camera. It is sensitive to atmospheric pressure and allows you to confirm watertight integrity before diving. The sensor can be turned on and off. Once your camera is installed, simply push the start actuating button integrated on the sensor's circuit board. The LED light will turn green for two seconds to confirm actuation.
With the optional valve and extracting pump, which are part of the Vacuum Circuitry Kit, you can remove excess air to create a vacuum in the housing. Once a solid vacuum is achieved, the LED will blink green again for two seconds. During the dive, the LED will flash green every few seconds, indicating system integrity. If the vacuum starts to decrease, the LED will start to flash orange, and if water is detected, the audible alarm will go off and the LED will also flash red. This advanced Aquatica circuit has a temperature compensation included, so any change in ambient temperature or changes in the internal temperature will not cause an incorrect reading. The onboard start actuating button is for the vacuum only; your alarm is always on.
The housing can be purchased with this system pre-installed at the factory before shipment, in which case this one will serve as a spare or replacement. If you purchased the housing without this kit initially, you can now add it on.
