Compatible with nearly all major U.S. cable providers, the SBG6900-AC SURFboard Cable Modem & AC1900 Wi-Fi Router from Arris supports the DOCSIS 3.0 standard with 16 download and 4 upload channels for increased bandwidth. In addition to more bandwidth, this cable modem operates on both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies and supports the 802.11ac networking standard offering wireless data transfer rates of up to 1900 Mbps. With integrated beamforming technology the SBG6900 is capable of emitting the Wi-Fi signal directly to connected devices. As a result, the connection is more stable and reliable than a traditional Wi-Fi signal. Along with wireless connectivity, this SURFboard modem comes equipped with four Gigabit Ethernet ports making it easy to connect devices such as computers, smart TVs, game consoles, and more directly to the modem.
