The DXW-2EU 2-Gang HDBaseT Wall Plate Transmitter with Ethernet & USB from Aurora Multimedia is a multi-input Decora style wall plate. It installs into a standard 2-gang outlet box and functions as a switcher, converter, and extender. The DXW-2EU is designed to convert VGA YPbPr, S-Video, and Video signals with audio to HDMI locally and transmit the signal up to 600' away to a compatible receiver (sold separately). The sources can be selected remotely via RS-232 commands sent through the matching receiver device, or locally via the front panel push-buttons. The DXW-2EU features a LAN port which allows network connection without requiring a separate wall plate. It also features two USB ports for powering USB devices and transmitting 480 Mb/s up to 230' independently to a different location. This unit can be remotely powered by the receiver device. A 40' range IR receiver sensor is built into the wall plate and supports IR control of the receiver end.
