Integrate four IP cameras into your surveillance system with the Q7404 Video Encoder from Axis Communications. Offering both H.264 and MJPEG compression for four channels, this device can drastically reduce data storage requirements and limit strain on your bandwidth. It will also deliver multiple streams simultaneously, with a max of 3 at the highest D1 resolutions at 30 fps. More can be supported as lower resolutions and frame rates and each stream can be individually configured.
Benefitting overall use, the Q7404 has multiple intelligent video capabilities, including video motion detection, tampering alarms, and audio detection. Each channel also has access to two inputs/outputs for adding sensors and relays to your setup. Also, two-way audio is available on channel one. Additionally, full control over PTZ function is possible thanks to the integration of multiple RS-485/RS-422 serial ports.
