This is the Ready-to-Fly (RTF) version of the Chroma Camera Drone from Blade, which includes the ST-10+ transmitter/personal ground station combination. The ST-10+ enables control of the aircraft, monitoring of a live video feed, and can display telemetry data. It is powered by an embedded Android mobile device with 5.5" screen. A 400-sized X-configuration quad, the Chroma is design to appeal to a range of users, form hobby fliers to shooters looking to capture aerial angles. To this end, it includes the GPH4 3-axis brushless gimbal allowing you to capture aerial shots with a GoPro HERO4 action camera.
A GPS-based flight control system - the brains that control the aircraft - enables varying degrees of autopilot redundancy, with options to accommodate pilots of every skill level. This feature is centered around Blade's SAFE technology, which includes Smart, AP (Aerial Photography), Follow Me, and Tracking modes. Additional safety features include Return Home, which brings the aircraft back to the pilot at the press of a button, as well as adjustable flight boundaries to ensure the quadcopter stays within a specified range.
Also included in the bundle is a 5400mAh "cartridge -style" flight battery lasting up to 30 minutes along with a battery charger as well as an 8GB memory card for the camera.
