The user manual for the Bosch BVMS-LITEPRO-64 Lite-64 to Professional F.01U.288.492 provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Surveillance - Surveillance Video - Video Management Software (VMS) - Recording Software.
The Bosch BVMS-LITEPRO-64 Lite-64 to Professional Upgrade License for VMS v.4.5.5 enables you to upgrade from an installed MBV-BLite-64 version to the Professional version of the Bosch VMS. This upgrade enables you to use a DVR and up to 64 cameras along with other features offered by the MBV-BLite-64 version of the VMS. It is an enterprise IP video security solution that allows for seamless management of digital video, audios, and data across any IP network. This system can be used with 64 cameras, 4 workstations, a DVR, and 2 CCTV keyboards.
The Bosch Video Management System is installed on a Microsoft Windows operating system. The included software components can be run together on a single PC for small systems or on separate PCs and servers for large systems. The Bosch VRM (Video Recording Manager) provides a distributed network video recorder solution, eliminating the need for dedicated NVRs. The VRM provides load balancing and failover for the iSCSI storage and makes it easy to add additional iSCSI storage later on. It also introduces the concept of a storage virtualization layer. This abstraction layer enables the VRM to manage all individual disk arrays in the entire system as various virtual pools of storage, which are intelligently allocated as needed.
The usage of multiple client workstations offers great scalability. This system supports BIS-BVMS connectivity. With support for up to 32 cameras, this multi site-single customer system is suitable for metro, airport, and other industrial facilities. It comprises individually configured servers and combined monitoring in Operator Client.
