The waterproof and fogproof 1.5-8x28 XTR II Riflescope from Burris Optics features an illuminated dual focal plane CQ Mil Reticle, anti-reflection coated optics, a quick zoom eyepiece, and a shock resistant main tube. The anti-reflection coatings deliver high transmission of light and reduce glare and ghost images. Among other optical performance highlights are a 1.5 - 8x zoom and a 3.75 - 4" long eye relief. To allow you to counter setbacks from bullet drop and wind drift, the riflescope offers a 90 MOA windage and elevation range with a 1/10 mil impact point correction.
The riflescope also features a Dual Focal Plane Ballistic CQ Mil Reticle with an illuminated broken circle pattern and a center dot. To provide you with adequate visibility in a variety of lighting conditions, there are eleven brightness settings. The dual focal plane reticle design separates the center aiming point and the crosshairs of the reticle, placing the center dot in the second focal plane and the crosshairs in the first focal plane. While this allows the crosshairs to change size with magnification, proportionally to your zoom factor, the size of the illuminated center dot remains constant.
The waterproof and fogproof housing features a single piece aluminum main tube with a hard anodized matte black finish. The eyepiece offers a quick zoom and focus, which allow for a fast target acquisition. The knurled zoom ring provides fast one-finger adjustment. Included with the scope are protective lens caps and a CR2032 battery.
