Enjoy the outdoors while staying hydrated with the Olympian blue and green oasis CAMELBAK Arete 18 Hydration Pack. This backpack plus Antidote Reservoir can be quickly converted from summit pack to hydration reservoir sleeve. For a light hike, turn the pack inside out, insert the reservoir, and pull it over the sleeve's envelope for a low-profile, compact and comfortable option for most any short sporting activity. The sleeve can be easily inserted into a larger backpack for transport and hydration. If your hike requires more necessities, convert the sleeve into a summit pack, with 854 cubic inches, or 14 liters, of space for tools or gear, and an additional 2 liter reservoir for water. The pack has a strong 70 denier polyester back panel with rain cover and two adjustable straps to keep contents secure and protected. Small accessories like emergency radio, water bottle, or a GPS can be stored in mesh pockets located on both sides of the pack. The backpack has adjustable mesh shoulder straps and a narrow cylindrical shape that keeps a good part of your back exposed for comfort and airflow.
The 2 liter Antidote hydration system is a self contained reservoir that folds into its own pint-size pouch so you can throw it in your suitcase or stash it in your backpack. The 38"-long delivery tube provides easy access to your water supply while on the go. Its unique design features three points of liquid flow control. The on/off valve, located at the base of the bag, is useful for sealing liquid contents during transport. The Ergo HydroLock shuts down the flow between hydrations and prevents leakage if accidental pressure is put on the reservoir. A Big Bite Valve lets you control the flow of water while drinking. The silicone mouthpiece is soft to bite, yet strong enough to auto-seal when you release it, allowing for hands-free operation and no dripping. Antidote's Quick-Snap Cap with o-ring allows for closing and sealing the reservoir in a quarter turn. The wide diameter opening makes filling, cleaning and drying the bag quick and efficient. A low-profile integrated hook lets you secure the bag in your backpack or hang it for storage. Also, the Antidote's construction is 100% free of harmful Bisphenol A (BPA) and Bisphenol S (BPS).
