This Kit includes a Canon EOS C500 camera and a Convergent Design Odyssey 7Q on-camera monitor/recorder, providing you with the capability to shoot and record 4K RAW images. The camera features a 4K Super-35-sized sensor and an EF mount, which supports Canon EF Lenses including a range of Tilt-Shift lenses, Close-up lenses, Canon's EF 8-15mm f/4L Fisheye Zoom, and the Canon Cinema Primes and Cinema Zoom lenses.. The kit includes the Canon C500 camera, an Odyssey 7Q unit, two Convergent Design 256 GB SSDs, a USB 3.0 SSD reader, and a Canon battery adapter allowing you to power the Odyssey 7Q from an optional Canon BP-9x series battery.
The included Odyssey 7Q monitor/recorder features a 7.7" LCD screen with 1280 x 800 resolution with a 3400:1 contrast ratio. It incorporates two media slots that accept optional Convergent Design 2.5" SSDs. The Canon C500 4K RAW option is pre installed in the recorder, which also supports ProRes 422 HQ allowing you to record up to 1080p 30 out of the box. Additional codecs are optionally available for rental or purchase. The monitor/recorder is flexible, allowing you record/playback/display 4 HD video streams on the monitor simultaneously using quad split monitoring, and providing image analysis tools such as Waveform and RGB Parade during playback.
