The Cinetics Axis360 Motorized Pan And Tilt Kit from B&H lets you create dynamic video and time lapse photography sequences with fluid and precise motorized pans and tilts. It includes two Axis360 Motors that provide smooth or incremental movements, a Controller for each motor, and a Balance Kit that features two quick-release clamps, two L-brackets, and an Arca-type quick-release plate designed to securely mount and balance your camera and the Axis360 Motors and Controllers.
Each Axis360 Motor has a 1/4"-20 threaded screw for attaching your camera or one of the mounting brackets. A 1/4"-20 mounting thread on the bottom of the unit is provided for mounting the motor to a tripod, slider, or other support system. The motors can be configured to pan a camera, tilt when used with a tripod and the Balance Kit components, and slide when used with the optional Axis360 Pro Slider's pulley system. The motors each support up to 11 pounds, making them compatible with most DLSR, mirrorless, and mid-sized camcorders.
The Controller is the brains behind the Axis360, using CineMoco software to control movement and synchronized timelapse photos. The Controller works with most video cameras and can sync moves and time lapse photos on most Canon and Nikon DLSR cameras using optional cables. A built-in rechargeable battery provides six hours of continuous operation on a single charge or up to 24 hours in power save mode. In video mode, the controller provides speeds up to 110° per second. For timelapse photography, it enables incremental movements as low as 0.03°. When you want two perform multi-axis pan and tilt moves with two motors, the two controllers can be daisy-chained together with a standard 3.5mm stereo cable for synchronized control.
