With a 20x optical zoom and remote control capabilities, the Datavideo PTC-120 2MP Full HD PTZ Camera with 20x Zoom Lens, is suitable for medium to large venues such as lecture halls, auditoriums, houses of worship, and stadiums. The unit consists of the pan/tilt module and the camera head and lens. The PTC-120 captures HD video in 720p, 1080i, or 1080p at up to 60p in NTSC and PAL compatible frame rates as well as true 30 and 60 fps. It can output HD, as well as NTSC/PAL through its composite (CVBS) connector. It features a 1/2.8" CMOS sensor, 50 db signal-to-noise ratio, and an electronic shutter with a range of 1 to 1/10,000 second.
The PTC-120 is suitable for use on a desk, mounted to a horizontal surface, or you can mount it to a ceiling using the included bracket. The camera also features a mirror mode that simplifies setting up the camera when it is mounted upside down. It features remote control operation of pan, tilt, zoom, focus, iris, shutter speed, and gain. The camera supports VISCA control protocols, as well as RS-232 and RS-422. You can program the camera with up to 128 preset positions, which is useful for repetitive events and productions. The small size and remote operation capabilities of the PTC-120 allow for placement where a manually operated camera and operator cannot go.
