This B&H Kit includes the Drobo 5D Storage Array and five 2TB hard drives. This Drobo storage array comes equipped with five storage bays capable of holding up to five 3.5" SATA I/II/III drives and one mSATA solid state drive. This kit includes five 2TB internal hard drives specially designed for use in small NAS systems similar to the Drobo 5D. After inserting the five hard drives you can configure those drives to suit a variety of storage needs as this storage array offers Drobo's own BeyondRAID technology.
Additional features offered by the Drobo 5D include Data Aware Tiering, Thunderbolt and USB 3.0 connectivity, protection from drive failure, a variable-speed cooling fan, and much more.
