Comprising DxO's three image editing programs, this DVD version of the Elite Edition Collection from B&H combines the raw processing abilities of OpticsPro 10, the film simulation tools of FilmPack 5, and the perspective correction capabilities of ViewPoint 2 into a single bundle to provide you with the essential tools for a variety of photo editing needs.
OpticsPro 10 offers a rich set of raw file conversion abilities, along with a breadth of general photo editing tools including PRIME denoising technology, ClearView haze reduction, and Smart Lighting to increase the apparent dynamic range of an image. Optical corrections can be applied, too, and are based on over 20,000 tested lens and camera combinations to reduce optical distortions and aberrations. For creatively adjusting the appearance of photographs using the look of traditional film, FilmPack 5 contains 82 distinct filmic looks based on actual black & white, color slide, and color negative film types. Each of these looks offers the unique color and tonal handling assets inherent to the different films, as well as adjustable grain structures and 39 Designer Renderings to simulate other film-based effects. Also included in this bundle is ViewPoint 2, which is dedicated to adjusting perspective distortions in photographs. Akin to using a tilt-shift lens, this program can correct for converging lines, lens-based distortions, and other off-straight lines by using an intuitive anchor point-based system. Over 15,000 lens and camera profiles are incorporated within the program, too, to streamline the correction process based on tested pairings. Each of these applications are delivered on a DVD, and all are compatible with Mac and Windows operating systems.
