User manual for the Electro-Harmonix Memory Boy Pedal with Analog Delay / MBOY
The user manual for the Electro-Harmonix Memory Boy Pedal with Analog Delay / MBOY provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Pro Audio - Musical Instruments - Effects Pedals.
The Memory Boy Pedal from Electro-Harmonix is an analog delay pedal with chorus and vibrato effects. The Memory Boy uses the Deluxe Memory Man as a base, expanding upon it with additional modulation features and an expression pedal input (expression pedal not included) which allows external control over delay time and modulation rate. Your Memory Boy can be used on its own or in combination with other effects devices. The unit comes with a 9.6 VDC-200BI power supply. There is also a 9V battery clip inside your Memory Boy which can be optionally used to power the unit with a single battery for three to four hours.
The Memory Boy is equipped with a bypass footswitch that allows you to switch the effect in and out. The analog delay effect has three controls to it: Blend, Feedback, and Delay Time. In addition, there is a Depth control which sets the amount of modulation applied to your tone in the selectable sweet analog Chorus and Vibrato modes. The triangle / square toggle switch sets the shape of the analog modulation waveform. The Chorus, Vibrato & Expression Pedal toggle switch is a three-position toggle switch which has two jobs: it sets the rate of modulation and chooses the parameter for the expression pedal to control.
