User manual for the EnGenius EAP600 Wireless N600 Indoor Access Point N-EAP600 KIT
The user manual for the EnGenius EAP600 Wireless N600 Indoor Access Point N-EAP600 KIT provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Computers & Solutions - Networking - Wireless Access Points.
This kit combines the EnGenius EAP600 High-Powered, Long-Range Ceiling Mount, Dual-Band N600 Indoor Access Point and the EnGenius EPE-5818GAF 802.3af Gigabit PoE Injector eliminating the need for a PoE compatible network router or switch. The EAP600 access point features dual band wireless connectivity along with IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n network standards compatibility. Once installed you can run both infrastructure and ad-hoc networks from this access point as well as set it to work in WDS Bridge, WDS Access Point, Universal Repeater, and Access Point modes. The WDS (wireless distribution system) bridging and access point configuration modes expand your network using multiple access points without the need for a wired backbone to link them.
The included EnGenius EPE-5818GAF 802.3af Gigabit PoE Injector features Gigabit in and out ports and is 802.3af (PoE) compliant like the EAP600 access point. You can install the EAP600 up to 300' away from the PoE injector as it supports 48V power to 802.3af compliant devices over CAT6 cabling. In addition to powering access points, this PoE injector is also capable of powering IP phones, IP cameras, and other PoE compatible devices.
