The GoPro HERO3/3+/4 Underwater Integrated Power/Video Live Video Out Housing from Eye of Mine is pressure tested at depths up to 200' and features a single integrated 50' cable that lets you supply power to the camera as well as monitoring an SD video output signal above the water. The power input uses a standard-sized 2.1mm x 5.5mm female barrel plug that takes a 12 VDC input source and adapts it to 5V within the housing to power the camera. The video output end uses a locking BNC connector and lets you send a standard definition 640x480 (4:3) video signal to an external monitor or recorder. A male RCA adapter is included. When outputting the SD signal, the camera functions as it normally does when recording to the microSD card. The housing is compatible with the GoPro HERO3, HERO3+, and HERO4, and accepts optional snap-on filters designed for the GoPro Dive Housing.
Note: The GoPro Battery BacPac and LCD screen will NOT work in this housing because the video/power cable uses the same back port. There is no way to control the camera remotely with this housing.
Note: A 2.5mm barrel plug will not fit the cable's female power barrel connector. Any 12V battery or wall adapter used must have a positive center pin or it may damage your camera.
Note: GoPro HERO4 cameras will accept external power via the back port when using firmware version 2.0 or later, however you won't be able to charge the internal battery. There are no limitations with HERO3/3+ cameras.
