The 16GB 16GB Mobi SDHC Wi-Fi Memory Card from Eye-Fi features maximum read and write speeds of 13MB/s and 23MB/s, respectively, with minimum transfer rates of 10MB/s. Built-in 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi on the 2.4GHz band enables you to instantly send photos and videos from your SDHC-enabled camera to your Apple or Android smartphone or tablet--without the need for a wireless network. This makes it quicker and easier for you to share your images via email, text, social media sites or save directly to the Eye-Fi Cloud. The wireless range is 45' indoors and 90' outdoors.
Simply install the free Eye-Fi app--available from the Apple App Store, Google Play or Amazon's Kindle Fire app store--on your mobile device, enter the 10-digit activation code located on the back of the Mobi card case, and you're good to go. Once paired with your smart device, the card transfers images and videos whenever new content is detected by your device. The wireless network created by your Mobi card offers WPA-PSK, WPA2-PSK and WEP 64/128 encryption for security. Additionally, once the transfer is complete, the card disconnects its Wi-Fi to conserve your battery life. Advanced power management also optimizes battery use.
