The user manual for the Field Optics Research MT05 Tripod Pistol Grip Carbon Fiber MT05 provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Optics - Spotting Scopes - Tripods & Support.
The Field Optics MT05 Tripod Pistol Grip Carbon Fiber Kit comes with an extra lightweight Carbon Fiber Tripod and Pistol Grip Head. The large Carbon-Fiber Tripod is made of feather-weight spun-fiber that provides motion-free support with good transportability. With the legs fully extended, the height of the tripod is 55” (139.7cm) (without the head). The legs can extend to 150° for lower stable position. Center rise is an additional 12” (30.48cm).
The Pistol Grip Head makes spotting or photographing on the tripod very easy. The key is the trigger handle. It has an oversized trigger release that you can squeeze to freely move the head. When you move the scope or the camera to the desired position, just release the trigger and the ballhead locks firmly into place at any angle. A convenient switch on the body locks and unlocks the quick-release shoe, which means that the quick-release plate can rotate 360° and can be locked at any point.
The gun rest is a rubber over-molded V-Yoke that creates a stable non-slip rest for your firearm or camera.
