The UFM-30DEMUX 3G/HD/SD Digital Audio De-Multiplexer from For.A is a module type digital audio de-multiplexer designed to extract 4 stereo pairs of AES/EBU signals from 3G-SDI, HD-SDI or SD-SDI signals. The units 16 channels of embedded audio can be assigned to 8 arbitrarily selected AES channels. It supports asynchronous embedded audio de-multiplexing and remapping and multiplexing of embedded audio onto SDI signals after de-multiplexing and remapping. The UFM-30DEMUX enables switching from AES OUT 7/8 to LTC out to allow LTC output support. ANC timecode can be output as LTC. This de-multiplexer enables the SDI signal input to bypass output when the power is turned off or By-pass mode is selected. The unit requires the UF-112 or the UF-106B frame chassis.
