The EXT-DVI-2-HDSDIPRO DVI to HD-SDI Converter from Gefen combines two DVI to HD-SDI Scaler Plus units in a single rackmount device. This unit incorporates full single link DVI-D conversion scaled to SD-SDI or HD-SDI single- or dual-link modes.
It supports resolutions up to 1080p and performance is enhanced by onboard Gennum VXP scaler circuitry. This circuitry permits functionality such as genlock, color & gamma correction, noise reduction, detail enhancement, aspect-ratio selection, pattern-generator mode, and multiple-language support. The unit can be controlled via RS-232 connectivity or the included IR remote control.
