The EXT-DVI848 8x8 DVI Matrix from Gefen is a cross-platform device that allows you to combine (8) DVI computers with (8) DVI displays without networking. This solution is an effective method of creating multiple workstations that can be accessed locally or remotely with a Gefen extender. Once connected, each workstation can access any one of the computers at any time. Simply connect your computer DVI ports to the switcher's inputs and the DVI displays to the switcher's outputs to begin working.
The switcher maintains resolutions up to 1080p, 2K, and 1920 x 1200. This unit also supports DDWG standards for DVI monitors. Please note that this unit is intended for use with computers only and is not HDCP-compliant, meaning that copyright-protected material intended for use on traditional video components may not display correctly.
