necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Pro Audio - Recording - Studio Monitors.
The 7270A 250W 12" Active DSP Subwoofer (Black) from Genelec is a powerful and precise active DSP subwoofer perfect for traditional stereo monitoring, or modern 5.1 or 6.1 surround monitoring. It has a 12" front-firing driver capable of reproducing tones down to 19Hz. With a large sound pressure output capacity and versatile digital bass management system, the 7270A can be optimized to meet any low-frequency monitoring needs.
The integrated 250W amplifier unit supports 8 input and output channels (4 XLR connectors each) for high-quality AES/EBU digital audio. The amplifier also contains active DSP crossover filters and driver overload protection circuits. The main crossover frequency can be adjusted between 50-100Hz. The LFE channel input (input 4) has an adjustable 50-120Hz low pass filter and a 0/+10dB sensitivity switch.
The subwoofer is compatible with the Genelec Loudspeaker Manager (GLM) control network, which uses software to enhance the performance of the sub. It offers level adjustment, distance delays, phase and room response EQ, and robust AutoCal automated calibration via the GLM control network. The sub's unique Laminar Spiral Enclosure minimizes noise and enables a long reflex tube to be packed into a small space.
