The Genustech Combat Cage for Blackmagic Cinema Camera adds a top handle and ergonomic side hand-grip for comfortable handheld shooting with your Blackmagic Cinema Camera. The cage is constructed from aluminum and features multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes on all sides, allowing you to attach a variety of accessories such as microphones, lights, monitors, and recorders.
The Combat Cage consists of a base plate, front plate, and top plate. The base plate attaches beneath the camera via a 1/4" screw, while the circular front plate goes around the camera's lens mount, and attaches to the base plate via the included Allen screws. The top plate, which includes the side grip and top handle, uses two 1/4" screws to attach to the threaded holes on the top of the camera and then Allen screws to secure it to the front plate. The Combat Cage can be mounted on tripods via 1/4" or 3/8" threaded holes on the base plate.
