Take everything you need for an overnight trip with the mercury / ash / yellow Summit 45 Internal Frame Pack from High Sierra. This pack carries 45 liters of bedding, clothing, and other gear comfortably out on the trail thanks to an adjustable aluminum frame bar. The molded foam back panel with AIRFLOW channels keeps you dry as you hike by promoting airflow to move perspiration away from your skin. Padded HEX-VENT mesh shoulder straps also promote airflow to keep you cool and dry. Load lifter straps let you control how the weight is distributed on your shoulders, while an adjustable sternum strap keeps shoulder straps from spreading outwards toward your armpits and causing discomfort. An adjustable hip belt has HEX-VENT mesh as well, and helps transfer the load to your waist.
The top load design has a spindrift collar that lets you overstuff the bag, and keeps debris from finding its way in when the lid is open. A zipper runs the length of the top compartment and lets you find what you are looking for with ease. A dedicated sleeping bag compartment features a horseshoe external access zipper and has an internal divider to keep contents separate. The pack is hydration bladder compatible, with dual pass-through for the drinking tube.
The front has dual tool loops and daisy chains to transport ice axes, trekking poles, or other tools. Dual mesh holsters keep water bottles within easy reach, or provide a place to stash smaller items. Compression straps condense the load and keep the pack tight to your back so it won't sway on the trail. A removable rain cover rounds out the features on the exterior of the pack, and keeps your gear dry in the event of a sudden shower.
