This is a manufacturer's kit that includes a 4-Bay Tower Enclosure that has a single Mini-SAS port as well as a Mini-SAS to Thunderbolt adapter with a RAID controller so it may be used with Thunderbolt-compatible computers.
This RAID comes with 4 SATA III / SAS II 3.5" drive bays and is compatible with Windows and Mac systems. The hardware RAID controller is on the RocketStor and supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, and JBOD configurations to deliver the performance and data protection needed by those working with 4K media applications.
This RocketStor features two Thunderbolt 2 ports that each provide up to 20 Gb/s of bandwidth and are also backwards compatible with 10 Gb/s Thunderbolt technology. Thunderbolt technology allows you to daisy-chain up to six devices together such as additional Thunderbolt storage, Thunderbolt displays, Mini DisplayPort devices, and more. The RocketStor 6324AS kit operates at 90-264VAC and includes a 3.3' / 1.0m Thunderbolt cable, one Mini-SAS cable, an external power adapter, and a limited 1-year warranty.
