This printer is also very versatile with printing, scanning, and copying capabilities. Printing is possible at resolutions up to 4800 x 1200 dpi in color for fine detail and it can create documents up to 8.5 x 14". Along with this resolution, it has ISO print speeds of 12 ppm in black and 8 ppm in color. Automatic duplexing and borderless printing is also possible with this unit.
Scanning and copying is enabled with the inclusion of a flatbed on the top of the unit. This allows for scans and copies at sizes up to 8.5 x 11.7". Also, scans can be captured at a resolution of up to 1200 x 1200 dpi for detailed images. Paper handling is benefitted by two trays, one 125-sheet input tray and a 15-sheet photo tray for more specialized paper. Additionally, it has a 2.2" mono touchscreen LCD for checking and changing settings as well as USB 2.0 and Wi-Fi connectivity options.
