User manual for the ikan 3-Axis Gimbal with 2" Live View Remote Control
The user manual for the ikan 3-Axis Gimbal with 2" Live View Remote Control provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Professional Video - Tripods, Supports & Rigs - Gimbal Stabilizers.
This B&H Kit of an ikan FLY-X3 and the REMOVU R1 Live View Remote is assembled to provide you with advantages that handheld stabilization and remote viewing/control bring to shooting with your GoPro Hero 3 or 3+ camera. The ikan FLY-X3 allows you to move the camera in a natural and organic, yet stabilized manner, that follows your movements instead of remaining static and isolated. It features a much quicker learning curve, for most people, than using a vest/post/sled type stabilizing system. When you mount your camera on a stabilization system, you will often encounter unwanted camera movement when starting to record, requiring a few seconds for the gimbal to stabilize the camera. This can result in missing the beginning of shots when improvising, or alerting the people around you that you are shooting when you want to remain inconspicuous. The REMOVU R1 not only solves this problem of unwanted camera movement, it also allows you to remotely control your camera's settings and provides a live view of the video you are recording via WiFi. This gives the operator the option of using it to operate the stabilization rig, without having to follow the monitor, or it can also be used as a director's monitor so they don't have to walk around essentially tied to the camera operator, trying to see what the camera is recording. With the REMOVU R1, the director can be over 65 feet away from the camera and operator and reliably see the live view from the camera as it is recording.
