The system utilizes a frequency of 433 MHz and a working range up to 162' for optimal freedom of movement during shooting. The transmitter can also control 16 channels and sync at up to 1/250 second. The transmitter mounts on the camera's hot shoe while the receiver plugs into the flash's Wireless Control Port, from which it also receives power. The transmitter, on the other hand, requires the use of 2 AA batteries, and is capable of controlling other Pro-Flash series lights using the appropriate receivers.
