View and manage a medium-sized video surveillance system with the Orchid VMS 6-Camera License and Workstation with Intel i5 Processor from IP Configure. The bundle contains licenses for up to 6 cameras and an NVR with an Intel i5 processor and 4TB of hard drive storage. Use Chrome, Safari, IE, Firefox, or Opera browsers to access the management software, so you can control the system from a wide range of locations. The VMS is compatible with Windows, Windows Server, and Linux server operating systems, as well as Android, iOS, Linux, Windows, and OS X client operating systems.
Orchid software supports an unlimited number of cameras as well as unlimited camera resolution and frame rates. Both MJPEG and H.264 video compressions are supported, and the software uses MKV formatting when exporting information. Motion detection, digital and optical PTZ, and simultaneous live and recorded playback features allow for comprehensive data analysis. A timeline bar with motion-event search helps you easily navigate your saved footage, and unlimited user accounts with fixed roles enable multiple secure viewing options. The software is ONVIF-compliant for compatibility with over 2500 cameras and encoders.
With 4GB of RAM and an Intel i5 processor, the NVR can accommodate most high-resolution cameras. Dual Gigabit Ethernet ports enable simultaneously connection to more than one network, and the included hard drive is surveillance-grade for high-quality performance and long-lasting storage. The NVR is pre-loaded with the Ubuntu Linux 14.04 LTS operating system and can also support Windows 7 Professional and Windows Server operating systems. The package also includes a 19" viewing monitor, a keyboard, and a mouse.
