The ES-450 SPe Four Channel Jog/Shuttle Remote with Ethernet from JLCooper features a VTR style jog/shuttle wheel and a 10/100 Ethernet interface for long distance control over LAN, WAN or the Internet. The ES-450 SPe is compatible with Doremi Labs Video Servers and Disk Recorders. When used with a JLCooper eBOX the ES-450 SPe can remote control serial equipped RS-422 servers or RS-232 devices.
The remote is designed for fast and easy editing and incorporates a keyboard layout and a back-lit LCD time code display. Controls include Forward Play, Reverse Play, Fast Forward, Still/Stop, Shuttle Select, Frame +, Frame, Mark In, Mark Out, Eject, Crash/Full, Assemble, Insert Video, and A1/A2/A3/A4 modes. The ES-450 also employs an audio split function, which allows the audio edit in-point to be set differently from the video edit in-point. The ES-450 supports both drop frame and non-drop frame time code, as well as variable frame rates, include 24, 25, 29.97 and 30.
